Today was a very exciting day in our school calendar - School Council Speeches and Election Day!
We had 50 candidates from Year 5, 6 and 7 who had made a poster to put themselves forward to be on School Council. Then today they had to deliver a speech to their Year Group, after which the whole year group completed a ballot paper to anonymously declare their 3 votes.
The speeches were of an exceptionally high standard and each and every pupil who stood up should be very proud of their efforts.
The votes were counted and verified and the results are as follows:
Year 5 representatives: Sam Jennett, Lottie Knipe, Tom Robertson and Anna Nesbitt
Year 6 representatives: Daniel Thompson, Lily McCrory, Eden Baxter and Max Robertson
Year 7 representatives: Ava Patton, Ryan Finlay, Harry Jennett and Ella Lauchlan
Congratulations to the elected pupils and Mrs Craig is looking forward to a new school year and putting into practice all their fantastic ideas.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
