Our class trip to W5
Today we went to W5. The first place we went to was the Go exhibition area. We were able to look at anything we wanted to and it was really interesting. We pulled ropes, we pressed buttons, we did co-ordinates and we used levers. Then we went to the Climbit zone. We had lots of fun climbing and exploring. Then we went to the workshop and did some science experiments. First we made fridge magnets by mixing powder and water and we had to be careful not to let the mixture harden. Our second experiment was mixing baking soda and vinegar. We used indicator paper to see if they were acid or alkali. The acid turned the paper red and the alkali turned the paper green. When we mixed them it fizzed up and made water and carbon dioxide. Then at the end we got to go to the gift shop and eat our lunch.
