The Cross Country teams travelled to Mallusk yesterday to compete in the N.I Finals. It was the girls first time at the finals, something which they can be very proud of. They raced first. Each girl gave their all and finished the race feeling proud and a little exhausted. A great way to top off all the hard work in every races throughout the year.
The boys were next. They had been in good form coming into the competition and this continued on the day. All the boys left nothing on the track and like the girls were exhausted afterwards (special mention for Oscar Eakin who came second in the boys race, a fantastic achievement). Both were highly competitive races which saw the boys come first in their region and third overall in the whole of Northern Ireland.
A massive congratulations to both teams for all their efforts and hard running throughout the year.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
