Another wee recipe from Lisa and John Torode. I made these this week and they went down a treat!
You will need :
125 g butter
125 g sugar (any kind)
125g porridge oats
125g SR flour
1 teasp Bic. of soda
1 teasp hot water
a good squeeze of golden syrup
All you have to do...
Melt butter in a pan then add all the other ingredients and take off the heat. Mix together then shape into teaspoon sized balls. Place well spread out onto a couple of baking trays. Flatten slightly with a spoon.
Bake at 180 C for about 12 - 15 minutes. take out and cool on a wire tray.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
