It’s hard to believe we have completed 5 weeks of our Eco Schools Home Challenge – that means we are halfway through and there are only 5 weeks left of our challenge! We had a record number of photos sent in – 32 photos in total so well done to everyone! A huge thanks to everyone who is taking the time to complete some of the activities and send in photos. It’s great to see everyone making the most of the nice weather by taking part in outdoor activities.
For the Green House, we had Jack, Zara, Jan, Alistair and Ailsa who were helping with the recycling rubbish, hanging out washing and doing some summer planting.
For the Yellow House, Adam, Ben, Ryan, Olivia and Carys were busy hanging out washing, looking after plants, tidying up the garden and putting out the recycling bin.
Rebekah, John, Gracie and Will earned points for the Red House by taking part in different activities such as looking after their own window boxes, climbing trees and making their name with sticks.
Finally, for the Blue House we had Ruby, Sophie, Katie, Alfie, Alivia and Sarah who were keeping busy by hanging out washing, planting, doing art activities such as painting stones, making plaques and using junk materials. Bonus points for some pupils whose emails for previous weeks didn’t make it to me before now.
