We all wore something green today to celebrate getting our Green Flag. We had a special visit from Colin Ross who completes in mountain races all over the world. Colin has won many championships and he told us about racing. We watched some videos of him competing and then he showed us some stunts. He jumped over seven teachers as they lay on the ground!!
Everyone is enjoying the Science Fair in Belfast. We have been to some shows, had a look at lots of different projects from all the schools who are here and we still have lots more to look forward to this afternoon.
We had a super day at the RDS Science Fair. Both classes received positive feedback on their projects and a lovely trophy. Everyone enjoyed the shows and chatting with other schools about their projects.
A big thank you to Killicomaine JHS Science department for all their help, advice and models for our display. Thanks also to Portadown College for lending us models for our display too.
Friday already!
We were all up early this morning to pack & enjoy the final activities. We had zip wire and trapeze before a surprise activity! This new activity was called 'Tunnel Trail' and it involved crawling through various sizes of tunnels underground. Some of these were quite narrow & dark which was a little scary initially!
After lunch we said goodbye to our groupie & we are now on our way back to Holyhead for our boat. Looking forward to seeing you all at school later ☺️
After another good sleep we were busy at activities this morning, couldnt believe it was really Thursday already! More abseiling, quad biking and giant swing. ☺️ Everyone took part enthusiastically.
This afternoon we got into groups, build a raft and set sail on a lake. The weather again was lovely but we didn't stay dry for very long! 😳
This evening we brought our tuck and sang funny songs around a campfire. It was great fun with our groupie 😁
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
