Positive Covid-19 Case(s) Notification- Year 3M, 5D, 5C, 2A/N and 6/7H Parent/Guardian: Please be advised that a positive Covid-19 case(s) has been reported in your child’s class. In best practice we would advise parents/guardians to give their children a one-off LFD test before returning to school. If this test is positive, then the child should stay at home as a confirmed case and isolate for the requisite number of days. The new rule of 5 days applies from 21/1/22 and children should be demonstrating a negative LFD test on both the 5th and 6th morning before returning to school. If you have any queries or concerns do not hesitate to contact our school office. Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.
Congratulations to our P6 football team who went to Brownlow College today to play in a tournament and they ended up winning it! Our boys and girls were super and some fantastic football was played. Have a look at the photos and see the trophy that we won! Thank you to Mrs Oliver for taking the team and for her superb coaching.

I would like extend our sincere appreciation to all our Bocombra pupils and parents who so generously supported our Ukraine fundraiser on Friday 11th March. Our PJ and Movie Day was a great success and £2733.00 was raised for this worthy cause. This collection will be forwarded to the Disasters Emergency Committee to be distributed immediately to needy people caught up in the conflict in Ukraine. Thank you once again for your incredible support.

What a great week we have had in hockey! Yesterday the boys were champions, winning their tournament in a very exciting finale. Today the girls came runners up after narrowly missing out in the final against Kings Park. Both teams played incredibly well and have qualified for the Northern Ireland Finals at Stormount. The girls will be playing on Wednesday 30th March and the boys play on Friday 1st April. We are very proud of them all.
There was great excitement today, Thursday 3rd March, as we celebrated World Book Day by Dressing up as our favourite book characters. From Nursery to Year 7, everyone put in a tremendous effort with their costumes and it was great to see how fantastic everyone looked as we had our costume parade around the gravel pitch. Thank you parents for all of your preparations and super effort. A huge well done boys and girls and all of the staff for making World Book Day fun! :)
