Our Nativity-We had great fun performing our Nativity Play- 'A Little Bird Told me'. Don't we look cute in our costumes?
The After Party- We all deserved our 'After Party'
Nativity Pictures- We drew pictures and wrote stories about our Navitity Play.
NSPCC-Dance with a difference!
Lough Neagh Discovery Centre came on Thursday 20th Oct. We had lots of fun searching for minibeasts and making a hibernaculum.
Minibeasts- We painted our clay minibeasts. They look amazing.
Minibeasts- Miss Spence is an Artist. She showed us how to make a clay minibeast. When they are dry we will paint them.
Winter animals- The Oxford Island Discovery Team came to tell us about winter animals and hibernation.
The after party
Storytime- Mrs Dunlop's class read stories they had written to our class. The story was called 'Santa's Emergency'. We thought they were wonderful!
Scavenger Hunt- We went on a scavenger hunt. We had a list of things we had to find in the school grounds. We found them all!
Our Buddy workout for NSPCC-We had lots of fun dancing with our friends. Every time the music stopped we had to say something kind to someone else. Thank you for sponsoring us!
The Tharp Family came to visit us in assembly today. We all got to join in with their performance. We even got a CD!
Ditch the dark day!- We dressed up in bright clothes for ditch the dark day.
Outdoor Fun- During Playtime we have been having lots of fun playing outside. We use stopwatches to time eachother on the bikes. We use the outdoor activity box to challenge each other.
Leaf Monsters- We went for a walk to pick some Autumn leaves. We made some leaf monsters. We hope you like them!
Group Work- We tested materials to see how stretchy they were. We took our own photos using the iPads.
We are learning about odd and even numbers.

Clothes- Our topic this term is 'Clothes'. We have had fun playing in the Fancy Dress Shop, Fashion Designer Studio and much more.
Groupwork- We had to sort materials into waterproof and not waterproof.
Groupwork-We read a very special book called 'How full is your bucket?'. We worked together in groups to think of how we could fill/dip from other people's buckets.

Reading Partnership with Mrs Nesbitt's class. Today we read our own 'Santa's Emergency' stories to Primary 2/3. They really enjoyed listening to the stories which we had written ourselves. Mrs Nesbitt was impressed with our descriptive narratives!
