Today Helen came to talk to us about safety on the road. We each got a high visibility vest and a pack of high-vis stickers and keyrings.
We love Activity Based Learning
Lough Neagh Discovery comes to visit P3
Today Sandra, Peter and Noreen came to visit us. Sandra told us all about the different animals that hibernate in winter and showed us stuffed ones. We went outside and hid hedgehogs (paper ones!) under leaves for our friends to find. When we got back into school we decorated a seed packet and we took home little sunflower seeds for birds to eat. We really enjoyed the visit and learned lots of things about winter, hibernation and animals.
Buddy's Big Workout
We love doing jigsaws :)
Ditch the Dark Day
Look at our lovely bright clothes! Don't we all look lovely
P.E. Throwing and Catching
We practised throwing bean bags in the air. We then found partners and threw the bean bags to each other. Some of us were very careful and didn't drop the bean bag once!
We are learning about what it was like to live 100 years ago. There was no fancy brioche or pain au chocolat but there probably would have been soda bread! We made ours using soda bread flour and buttermilk. We cooked it on a griddle. Some of us had it with butter and some enjoyed it with jam.
