Here's another Sustrans Home Activity to keep the kids (and adults!) busy! This week, there's a short video from Beverley, our Schools Officer in North Central. Beverley has put together a simple activity focused on maps and ‘birds eye views’.
You can access Beverley’s intro video here: https://youtu.be/a9LdllAxuVY
The video blurb contains a link to a downloadable pdf activity sheet with all the info you need to do this activity - I’ve also added this to the Letters section of the website.
Have fun!
Well done to this week's entrants for submitting their evidence of completing a challenge from our Eco Schools - it was brilliant to see you getting outside in that beautiful sunshine!
Jan won a bonus 50 house points for the green house as he was the first entry this week - well done Jan! His energy saving poster is a fabulous work of art!
Ella and Jonah were busy weeding and planting outside, Zara and Jack were also busy looking after their plants.
Well done everyone!
The totals are:
Green House = 70 points
Blue House = 20 points
Keep up the great work and keep the entries coming!

Hope everyone is enjoying being back into some sort of school routine at home - whatever that might look like in your house! Your work packs have plenty of Literacy and Numeracy activities in them but I have posted an Eco Schools Home Challenge in the Letters section of the website - I have added a picture of it here as well. There are some WAU ideas and activities for you to try out if you would like, all of which are linked to our Eco Schools targets. There are also house points up for grabs as well if you want to send in any pictures!
Hope you are staying safe and washing your hands,
Mrs Craig.
