Good morning P7!
I hope you have all been keeping well and not missing school too much. This is a strange time for all of us, children and adults alike, and we are all adjusting to this new “normal”. I really miss the fun and banter of the classroom, but I have been trying very hard to learn new skills and keep myself from being bored. So far, I have made bread (yum!), tidied around the house and caravan and learnt how to Zoom conference call with my sister in England! I hope you have all been busy.
My lovely bread!
Regarding home schooling, I hope you have found the work we set helpful. Keep up with your work as best you can, and if you have any questions, email Mrs Taylor (email@example.com ) and we will do our best to answer them. I would also like to see pictures of you working and post them on our class page on the website. Once again, email them to Mrs Taylor and we will upload them.
The Speers Kids working hard!
If you have any Library or reading books from school at home, it would be helpful if you could drop them into school, maybe on your daily walk or when it is safe to do so.
Don’t forget this week is the start of a two-week Easter holiday so give your schoolwork a rest for a couple of weeks and enjoy the time off, but not forgetting the new rules in place regarding gathering with your friends.
This week also marks the end of me being your teacher, and I now hand you all over to Mrs Dunne for the last few months, so may I take this opportunity to wish you all, pupils and parents, a happy, healthy and safe Easter, and once again wish you all the best in your new school.
Keep safe and well
